Well, I may be a bit over-enthusiastic, as we didn't get very much snow by some people's standards, but still... we woke up this morning to this lovely scene. Our live Christmas tree, waiting patiently on the back deck until it can be brought into the house, had been flocked by God during the night.

The shrubs along the driveway wore a coat of white.

And the house looks ever-more-Christmasy (I think I just invented that word). Merry, merry, everyone!

You got more than we did... lucky!
We're both hoping for a 2-hour delay at least.... Dave Salesky said that we hit our high temp for the day at 9 am, which was 35..... brrrr!
I did the same thing this morning taking pictures of our yard looking beautifully covered in snow! It's all gone now but we're supposed to get lots tonight! Your house looks beautiful at night with the lights!
