In addition to teaching U.S. History and Language Arts at our middle school, Mark also teaches art. This past summer and fall, he took two art classes through the local community college to further his education. One class was a plein air class, where they met and painted at a different outdoor location each week, and one was a studio class. Above is a picture of Mary's Peak from his plein air class, and below is a self-portrait he did for the studio class - quite a good likeness, in my humble opinion!
